The original novel by Ian Flemming was adapted as a comic strip and published in the Daily Express, a British newspaper. McLusky worked alongside author Henry Gammidge between 1958 and 1966 to adapt sixteen of the Bond novels.

The original novel by Ian Flemming was adapted as a comic strip and published in the Daily Express, a British newspaper. McLusky worked alongside author Henry Gammidge between 1958 and 1966 to adapt sixteen of the Bond novels.

The first Bond novel to be adapted as a comic strip. McLusky worked alongside Anthony Hearn to create the first syndicated series of James Bond's adventures. The series ran between 7 July, and 13 December, 1958, in the Daily Express, a British newspaper.
